Looking back through my blog, I realised I’d managed to miss out a couple of bits of art news.
Earlier this year, two of my paintings were selected for the Mansfield Museum Open Art Exhibition, where they were shown from March to June. I mentioned it elsewhere at the time, but somehow never actually wrote about it here.
Both paintings were from my aerial landscape work, so it was lovely to see them hanging together in the museum.
And while I’m catching up, there was another thing I forgot to mention.
In July, I entered three paintings into the Visual Artists Association Artist of the Year 2026, and at the end of the month I found out that I had been longlisted.
